Just finishing up a wonderful few months as guest faculty for Grenfell's 4th Year Theatre class. Accompanied the students to Harlow, UK, where we studied and rehearsed for their final mainstage production of Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) which ran this past weekend back in Corner Brook, Newfoundland.

Next up: teaching at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design this spring! I'll be directing 2 workshop productions with the fabulous students there.

My High-Heeled Life at FRIGID

So thrilled to announce that the show has been accepted into NYC's FRIGID Festival, coming up in February/March 2014. Tickets are onsale January 15-- check back for updates!

I start shooting today on the short film Cirque de Zephyr. I play the title chactacter, Zephyr, the vampy ringmaster of a circus! Should be a fun shoot-- links/photos to come......

Inge Snapshots this summer

Beyond thrilled to have been invited to be a part of Inge Snapshots: Still Life at Mid-Century Mid-America... I'll be appearing in two short plays by William Inge, presented by The Remnants theater company at this year's Toronto Fringe Festival.

Just found out that new, full-length version of my solo show got into the 2013 Vancouver Fringe! I'm so looking forward to sharing my work in my hometown next summer. I'm also on the waitlist for the 2013 Toronto Fringe, so fingers crossed-- I may be appearing there as well!...

Another teaching artist residency

I'll be starting another residency with GSP in New Brunswick schools later this month. Such a wonderful organization to work with- i'm looking forward to delving in with some excited 3rd graders!

George Street Playhouse Teaching Artist Residency

I'm really happy to be joining the George Street Playhouse's education program as a Teaching Artist. I'll be spending the month in residence in preschools in central New Jersey, working in bilingual programs using theater to explore science concepts.

"The Ties That Bind" Opens This Week

Katharine will be appearing in The Ties That Bind: An Evening of One Acts with the Cockeyed Optimists. She plays Kate in "Poets and Prophets" by Steven Ryan. The show plays December 10 and 14 at 8pm, at the Off Off Broadway Playhouse 300 West 43rd St, NYC.

Never Disconnected at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe

Katharine will be appearing in Never Disconnected, an evening of short plays by members of the Public Theatre's 2008 Emerging Writers Group. She'll be playing Trish in a reading of Alladin Ullah's "The Playwright Hustle".

Shooting begins on "Juvenol"

Katharine begins shooting today on the independent film, "Juvenol", a sci-fi short about a drug that promises eternal youth. She plays Linda Collins, a reporter covering the 50th reunion of the drug's original test subjects. Updates to come on future festvals/screenings.

Katharine heads to Louisville!

Rehearsals start this week for Pride and Prejudice at Actors Theatre of Louisville, directed by Jon Jory. Katharine will appear as Mary, the middle Bennett sister, and Charlotte Lucas....
